Today marks that it is just three short weeks until we make the big move. Although super exciting, it's also all becoming so very real to us both. We have so much to do, so many people to see and so many things to pack before three weeks comes. That's ok though, just trying to take it all one day at a time. That's what they say to do right? ;) Truth is, that's really all we can do!
My sweet Rocket Scientist is still working long, hard hours putting the finishing touches on his dissertation that is due this Tuesday. He's always been a hard worker, but these last 6 weeks or so have been monumental. He's spent most every night at the lab until it's dark out, and over the 4th of July--when we had plans to take a little vacay up to my parent's cabin--he worked all weekend down here, while letting me go up with my parents. He even stayed at the lab until 4am one night (well morning...).
So anyway, he's a hard worker, and soon all his hard work will truly pay off! He's sure tired now though....I bet that he'll be feeling much better by this time on Tuesday though. (After he turns in his Dissertation.) Although, he defends it on the 20th, so he's still not going to be done just yet.
Like I said though, soon all his hard work and diligence will pay off and we'll be in NC living the dream....so to speak. (What really does that mean anyway?!?) :)
That's it for now. Thanks for listening, or well, reading my ramblings.
