This past weekend J and I got to take a little trip to Steamboat Springs, Colorado. It's only about 4 hours away and was such a great drive. We really had fun skiing and just getting away from our hectic lives. :) Now that we are back though, we are busy getting ready to move on Saturday! Fun, fun. Here are some pics from our trip! :)
On the Gondola!
Something you don't see in the city. :)
Do you see the snow is only on the hiking path? Crazy deep in a lot of places too...but it was worth it. We got to see Fish Creek Falls and Bridge. Although my shoes and jeans got soaked.
Fish Creek Falls. Can't see them in all their glory though because it's mostly still frozen...
Closer view of the falls you could see.
See the cool snow? I just couldn't get enough of it, looks sooooo cool!
Howelsen Hill Ski Area in Steamboat Springs. It wasn't open for skiing when we were there, but it is a famous ski area/training area for Olympians. See the three huge ski jumps? Cool huh. Oh, and this is the longest continuously opened ski area in North America. It only has 4 lifts, but it is small and mighty! :)
Alrighty, I think that's all I have for now. Hope everyone is doing well! :)
